The Buffalo leather aprons are made with great care. The aprons are made of full-grain leather. Since leather is a natural product, these aprons become even more beautiful over time. Full grain has beautiful natural remarks. Buffalo leather is slightly thinner than cow leather, therefore the aprons are more flexible. The smooth leather straps make the apron adjustable at the neck and waist and the canvas around the neck strap ensures comfort. All aprons are designed for (home) cooks, baristas, craftsmen and people who are not afraid to get their hands dirty. Although it’s also the perfect must-have for grill masters.
Witloft developed a special and unique coating which is used on most of our aprons. It protects the leather against stains, dirt and even the worst scratches. It also makes food or dirt easy to wipe off with a damp cloth. The coating makes the leather a bit stiff in the beginning, but will quickly soften with use. The Witloft apron is made to last and will take on its own unique characteristics over time. The aprons are good for use in a heated environment such as BBQ or grill and will protect you.
When you’re not using your apron, hang it or roll it, don’t fold to ensure no lines or cracks will appear in the finish.
